INVESTMENT CASTING PRODUCT OFFERINGS
ICP ceramic pour cups are essential for producing high-quality investment castings. Attached to the wax down sprue, they become part of the ceramic shell, improving mold stability and providing a durable target for metal impact while reducing inclusions from shell breakage. Made from proprietary mullite or fused silica, ICP cups are engineered for compatibility with standard investment casting materials.
ICP ceramic cover plates are designed to cover the investment mold during the preheat process to avoid possible contamination. These products resist thermal shock at high temperatures and are compatible with pour cups and shell materials.
ICP manufactures custom ceramic support rods to reinforce shell areas where added strength is needed. Available in various lengths and cross sections—including round, half-round, square, rectangular, and serrated—these rods provide versatile solutions for different applications.
ICP ceramic double cups help reduce re-oxidation inclusions by allowing air to escape through an up sprue during casting. Made from proprietary mullite or fused silica, they are fully compatible with investment mold materials and designed to improve casting quality.
ICP offers ceramic injection molding technology for efficient internal core production. Our approved ceramic compositions serve critical applications in medical, industrial gas turbine, and aerospace industries. All cores are fully leachable, and our thermal processing capabilities support high-volume output with reduced lead times.
ICP Melt Out Plugs are designed to fill shell voids created by venting. Designs include bleeder plug, cone, and vent pin, and come in fused silica, mullite, and high alumina compositions.
